They desperately need eyeballs to sell to whatever remaining advertisers they have.

Actually, their true asset isn't content or ad sales -- it's logistics. Only they have the network to drop a couple of ounces of paper on your doorstep every day for less than the post office.

- MattAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2460005.post-58840878704173105462012-07-15T14:21:03.313-07:002012-07-15T14:21:03.313-07:00MJ,

Remember, you are not the newspaper's customer, and you never were. You were and are its product -- a product that it can no longer reliably deliver to advertisers, so it's dying.

-MJAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2460005.post-79226110328053481692012-07-14T23:59:53.297-07:002012-07-14T23:59:53.297-07:00Nice article, thanks for the information.Nice article, thanks for the information.sewa mobil jakartahttp://griyamobilkita.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2460005.post-10436569313055495472012-07-14T13:16:22.162-07:002012-07-14T13:16:22.162-07:00I still read the paper. Obviously people are going to go with what's cheap or free. You can read the Mercury News on their website, but you can't fold it up and take it with you with such ease as only paper can do.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
